Friends for Rescues NEPA was established by two friends with a shared passion for animal welfare.  Through previous volunteer work, we witnessed firsthand the impact animal rescues have on the lives of vulnerable animals in our communities.  Driven by our love for animals and our desire to make a difference, we created a pass-through fund with the Wayne County Community Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

​​​​​Our mission is to raise funds, awareness, and resources to ensure that these rescues can continue their work.  Through our year-round fundraising efforts and networking, we strive to build strong partnerships with local businesses, organizations and individuals who share our passion for animal welfare.
